Effective 11 AM Eastern on Friday September 11th, we are no longer updating pets on the Petfinder web site on your behalf for those accounts. We apologize for not giving you more notice concerning this issue, but it is out of our control. This does not affect all of our Petfinder uploads, so please review your exports page for your latest account status. It's interesting to note that Petfinder currently supports data uploads from various shelter software and even individual organizations, but not from any of the RescueGroups.org services. We've talked to numerous organizations that currently upload data on their own with Petfinder's auto-upload. It's also important to realize that RescueGroups.org (an unaffiliated, volunteer driven 501(c)(3) organization) does NOT place any advertisements in your pet data, and does NOT charge for pet data. Please take two minutes to ask Petfinder to reverse this nonsensical decision and reinstate RescueGroups.org.  For us and the animals we help.
